As part of a university industry project, I collaborated with Sainsbury's to enhance their customer loyalty program. My role as a UX & Service Designer involved: - Conducted research to analyse customer habits, preferences and other factors affecting customer loyalty in the food retail sector. - Investigated factors influencing customer meal choices, including convenience, knowledge, and social influences. - Mapped the customer journey to identify pain points and opportunities for improving customer loyalty - Identified key areas where the loyalty experience could be enhanced to increase customer engagement and motivation to shop more at Sainsbury's. This involved exploring concepts like personalised offers, streamlined redemption processes, and the potential for membership tiers - I contributed to the strategic thinking around a new approach to the Sainsbury's loyalty program, focusing on creating a more relevant, valuable, and seamless experience for customers. This included ideation around potential features and benefits for the membership tiers - Applied UX design principles to envision potential digital solutions that address identified pain points and align with user needs for convenience, clarity, and a more rewarding experience
